About Us

The Anfinson Lumber TeamAnfinson Lumber was founded in 1954 by Creighton Anfinson. On December 31, 1995, Creighton Anfinson retired and sold the business to his son, Richard S. Anfinson, who had been working with his Dad since 1969. Originally Located in Pomona, California the company relocated to its current location in the city of Fontana, California. Fontana is sixty miles east of Los Angeles, and just minutes from Ontario International Airport. Our blacktopped, fenced, rail serviced facility provides plenty of room for all of our offices, lumber storage and air drying.

Our one and a half acre warehouse and milling facility houses a diversified variety of high tech milling equipment for the remanufacturing of softwoods and hardwoods supplied from leading industry mills. Anfinson Lumber is very proud of our team of experienced mill workers. The team behind our state of the art knife grinding room has over 35 years of combined experience alone.

With five acres of paved yard, and a long history of sticking, and air drying lumber, and the perfect climate for air drying, we can produce large quantities of quality dried redwood and cedar lumber.

Anfinson Lumber is currently producing over one million board feet of remanufactured lumber products monthly with the capacity to expand to twice that number. In early 1997, Anfinson Lumber started producing finger joint in blank stock, primed stock and milled to pattern.

Our sales department handles wholesale lumber products throughout the United States and abroad. Because of the diverse clientele and the need to respond to market fluctuation, Anfinson Lumber has dedicated itself to continue on the forefront of innovation in the marketing, manufacturing and labor practices which will guarantee success in supplying our customers with quality products for years to come.
